As compared to most hearing people, who have the privilege of sitting anywhere in the room, do you find that Deaf people often sit or wait in a strategic location that might be “Deaf-friendly”? Where would these locations be? What has been your personal experience?

As compared to most hearing people, who would rely on their hearing to tune in to their environment, do you find that Deaf people use their eyes to maintain their presence in the room? How do they maintain their eye gaze? What has been your personal experience?

As compared to most hearing people, who would “mind their own business” while waiting, do you find that Deaf people constantly monitor the room while waiting? Do they look around frequently? Do they look up frequently? Do they check the message board frequently? What has been your personal experience?
